Die Aquariumpflanze Salvinia Minima von Dennerle Plants ist eine pflegeleichte Pflanze und ideal zur Algenvorbeugung geeignet. Auch als Indikatorpflanze in Bezug auf die Nährstoffe im Wasser ist sie gut einsetzbar. Kleinere, hellgrüne Blätter sind ein sicheres Anzeichen von Nährstoffmangel. Der Artname minima verrät es bereits- es ist eine kleine Schwimmfarn-Art aus Mittel- und Südamerika. Die Schwimmblätter sind meist rundlich und zwischen 1 cm und 2,5 cm groß. Die schwimmenden Stängel können eine Größe von 8 bis 10 cm erreichen, danach brechen sie meist auseinander.
