Die Dennerle Plants Aquariumpflanze Rotala rotundifolia Laos ist in Südostasien weit verbreitet und besitzt eine hohe Variationsbreite. Die aus Laos stammende neue Sorte ist ausgesprochen dekorativ und sehr anpassungsfähig. Die rotbraunen Stängel bilden einen schönen Kontrast zu den hellgrünen bis olivgrünen Bättern. Bei intensiver Beleuchtung können sich die Triebspitzen auch leicht mit orangeroten Tönen verfärben. Rotala rotundifolia Laos sieht aber nicht nur im Aquarium gut aus- für Wabi-Kusa ist diese Sorte geradezu ideal und mit etwas Geduld kann man sich sogar an den schönen Blüten erfreuen.
