Diese neue farbintensive Rotala-Sorte gehört wohl zum sehr variablen Formenkreis R. rotundifolia. Ihr Name bezieht sich auf den Fundort in Zentral-Vietnam. Ihre Farbausprägung ist sehr stark von der Beleuchtung und Ernährung anhängig, von hell-orangen bis rot-violetten Tönen reicht ihr Farbspektrum. Wie bei Rotala spec. Grün zeigt sie einen schönen überhängenden bis horizontalen Wuchs. Durch regelmäßigen Rückschnitt entstehen sehr kompakte Pflanzgruppen. Die Kombination dieser beider Rotala-Sorten ist ein echter Hingucker. Die Pflanze ist für Süßwasseraquarien geeignet.
